I can totally relate to the documentation thing. I'm 17 right now, but I pretty much don't remember most of my school days. I don't remember what kind of guy I was nor my friends. I forgot the few happy moments I had in my life. I have totally changed since the past two years. And so, since the past 5-6 weeks I started taking pictures(few selfies, clouds, pigeons in my balcony and all kinds of random stuff). I also started Journaling. And I think that's a good thing. Bcoz I know that after 6-7 months I'm going to forget many things about the past 'me'. And it really helps to self-reflect.

Glad that you made this video. I myself have struggled with that question lately. Why is that I think and put so much effort into clicking candides/writing so much about them but they don't seem to spare the same amount of time for me. I too want friends who give me as much importance as I give them. I also came to the same conclusion as you. My expectations might be wrong. I also thought that maybe they put as much thought as I do, only that they cannot effectively convey it or may be I misunderstand or overthink. Then I was like, damn it! what matters the most is that they are my friends. At the end of the day, I do what I do, not because I want something in return but because I want to capture them, our moments together, think deeply about what we have together and because those activities are my hobbies. However, I also understand that I need to draw a line somewhere and should invest myself only in balanced friendships, not one-sided ones.
