Oml this is indeed “Something New”! I’ve NEVER seen an idea where Chara’s the one who’s “in control”, so to say (or well, is the one conscious?) I’ve also briefly read what your thoughts on “Player” and Frisk are and i could somewhat agree! At the end of the day, we DO play as Frisk, and Chara all but outright states how we were the ones to “destroy this world”. The idea of a Player in a “real world” does seem somewhat bizarre and when working around it you did choose a great route! Not to mention that it’s your Multiverse so you have free reign, hehe Carbon was such a good choice tbh, esp considering the circumstances of characters. If you watch the video you can notice how Chara slowly becomes.. disappointed, tired. This reminded me of how, if we take the “chara’s not evil” route even in this particular Timeline, it can always be explained the same way as Killer’s desperation or Dust’s madness, because at the end of the day they were also stuck in a never ending loop.

I’m late but, Canonically murder/dust despises killer from his first appearance so much but he doesn’t show up. He only being passive-aggressive with him. He’s only cool with horror because of the pain they share. Oh and dust/murder know that frisk,chara and “the human” (the human of his alternate timeline and basically its the player) are a whole different beings and he doesn’t blame chara or frisk of what’s happening because he know it’s not them.

Disclaimer? The text below is about canon Dusttale and stuff like that. It's probably not canon for your multiverse or something like that. First, Something new and Dusttale is considired as a "AT" - alternative timeline. Dusttale has a player, while with Something new - I don't know. Technically speaking, Dust/Murder doesn't hate Frisk nor Chara, he hates "The human". In short, he doesn't care about their name, be it Chara, Frisk or Player. He has only one job - and that is to stop "The human". In "ask-dusttale", it was stated, that Murder doesn't like Killer, because the latter joined forces with "The human", while Murder himself was fighting against "The human". So, technically speaking, he sees Killer (or himself), as someone, who "gave up" and joined to the reason, why he started suffering... Or something along the lines. In a more simple manner, he sees himself as "I will eradicate the human"' while sees Killer as "I joined the human". Later, if what I remember is true- it was stated, that if Murder/Dust got an explanation of Killer's situation - he wouldn't feel sympathetic (or this part is from one of comments in youtube and not directly from Ask-dusttale, my brain doesn't remember stuff that well)? Though, maybe he would be less wary of him, maybe not. Another thing - Murder would prefer to stay in his timeline, literally (and would also prefer to not cause chaos in other au or at, so he is like a background character in them, that is trying to live in peace and return back home?). It was even stated, that he won't go with Nightmare willingly (tho, Nightmare can make him obey).

My Dust could easier Forgive Killer than in canon becouse in his case he actually want move on from past, his violent reaction from before was basiclly the same reason like in canon but like I told the diffrence is that canon Dust dosen't want move on, my wants this. Second reason why he prefered Forgive Killer is that Chara wasn't the one Which started Genocide, in canon too she isn't the guilty one, the guilty one is player (Where Frisk and player in my Mv is the same thing) in canon Chara actually if I am not wrong don't like humans too becouse this what happend to Azazel (they killed him) and never was at the side of Frisk, she only give the player choices 'kill or mercy' so basiclly she can't be called guilty, she is more like executioner/ judge if you choose bad you lost choice 'mercy' if you choose 'mercy' you still have choice and live normally 🤔 At least this is my speculation at the topic, Oh and to be clear in my Killertale Chara and Killer after the deal are now one, in another words Chara being stronger soul take full control of the body and get Killer's memories so basiclly Killer is more like Chara than Sans (why like that? Becouse when I read canon facts about Killer and saw the fact that he have DID (multiple personality) and I get theory that this is little diffrent...Dunno if my theory is true but well I always liked Chara more than canon Killer Sans and my Mv wasn't canon from beginning so I started liking my idea only more

@@kreator-blackmoon9977 as I said earlier, my brain doesn't remember stuff too well. I took a look at our conversation, and got a new thought about your Murder/Dust. As you stated - he got bored of his playground and it's npc's. But, how exactly Dust learned all their words, conversations and such? The thing is, he is not limited by choice about what he can say or do (while player is limited). He can say something new, and other monsters could reply about this phrase their own way. He could hurt them, tell something and get a new conversation. And in each timeline he can do that only 1 time with each monster that he kills. There is just no way he could come to a conclusion that they all are "NPC", if they don't answer to his various words with the same way. Like - I have already killed you many times (someone says: what? It's nonsence), in the next timeline - I killed you again (What? It's nonsence). If it's something like that - you can easily come to the conclusion "They are NPC". If he says something similar, yet diffirent at the same time, and monsters reply onto it the same way as in previous timelines - they are surely an NPC. And if ALL monsters reply the same way, yeah, F for sanity. But, there is one thing in canon dusttale, what Murder doesn't do, while your does. Canon murder kills them all, trying to do it as fast as possible, just so the human couldn't get to them. He would do sneak attacks, overpower them, evaporate at the moment that he sees them. Just to get to the lvl 20 faster, than the human. Maybe in first couple of resets he did have some problems and tried to explain his situation, but later on - decided to just be done with it. Plus, if I'm not wrong, he would try to kill Asgore and Undyne with the sneak attacks, just to not waste the time with them at the full power (and he can fail, too, which would lead to the fight AND he could hear what they have to say, maybe always the same thing, if this fail appears again, as it was with yours.) So, while your would try to listen, canon would prefer to not to, to save the time. (Plus, canon probably understands the fact, that the timeline was resetted, leading to the start of the day and the fact, that everyone would talk like nothing happend about the things, that they have "already" said. So, he has no reason to listen the same old dialogues that he was listening for 300+ timelines, before he decided to do genocide.). Another thing, as I said, canon Murder tried EVERYTHING (like asking for help, maybe. Traps and etc) but not the human souls, within those 300+ timelines, meaning that he had the chance to understand, that his friends are like NPC's. If he didn't understand this fact within 300+ timelines, why exactly he would understand it after he caused his own genocide? Wait, only people that are not fully sane can come to this conclusion... Eh, guess the sanity of your Murder really did some great things for him.

And who said Chara controlled Frisk? 💧 No, she wasn't controlling her I totally agree with you, what Chara was doing was nothing more than manipulation and I don't mean in terms of threats and stuff, her manipulation was giving Frisk a free hand (or Player for me the same thing tbh) which if she chose wrongly (she only did genocides) Chara deprived her of the ability to choose mercy But back to my Killertale, I only wanted to show that Chara manipulated Frisk (she even started encouraging Frisk to commit genocides) to put pressure on Killer to finally agree to a deal whose goal was to get rid of the main problem of both of their misfortunes - Player (in my Mv Frisk and player are the same thing), Chara's goal was not to play mass murderer but simply... peace. She didn't want some random brat to start playing God, she didn't want people close to her to suffer, she didn't want to see it, even if she wasn't a part of this world anymore, it still wasn't something that should be happening in the place she once called home.... My Chara is not evil, but she is also not an angel, I don't know if she is exactly like that in canon, but this is my vision of her from the facts I know, I say right away that none of my characters and their characters or stories are fully canon, it is only my perception of them and the differences contained in them are fully conscious, I hope you understand and I hope I didn't scare you with this monologue, Hahaha 😅

@@404alpha2 Thanks for understanding and I see...Tbh I always read canon wiki facts before the reaction to the character but not always this is clear to me what is actually canon or fanmade so often if I don't find sth enoughly logical or canon to undertale itself I have tendency to avoid this fact, for example the fact that player can change their code at whim is for me pretty weird looking at the fact that 'players' are 'us', you know hacking? Becouse me not and if you are not adult pretty much you don't know it too well too, this is why I don't think that this fact is realistic enoughly for my mv 🤔 another case is this that I don't like when sb is TOO strong, often people like make the player impossible oponent, for me this is iritatting so I wipe the 'impossible' from player name and only left 'oponent which is just like you' ☺️ In this way I think story is more interesting this is why my Killertale looks like that and no completly canonish Welp, Thank you for your opinion if you have any another questions I will gladly answer 😁

Already explaining, Lust is neutral in my Mv Horror is at bad guys side and Blue is at Star Sanses so only reason why they could decide to talk to each other is of course Lust! They meet at the first time in Lust's house completly unaware that they meet each other in first Blue didn't know that Horror is Horror, and Horror isn't type to attack for no reason so in this way thanks to lust puropusely asking them to come to him meet them, in first of course they wasn't close but with time they start like each other and Lust again was the one Which proposed 'sth more' in their realotionship Later Blue guessed that Horror is THIS horror but this not changed the fact that he already Fall in love with these two ☺️

*sigh* Sorry, I heard it so many times that I am kinda tired of this topic In my Mv no exist 'player' the player is Frisk from very beginning, when you play in undertale you aren't called 'Frisk' right? You are called like you like to be called in the game, the theory about player and naming 'player' and everything for me apperead much later my joining to fandom 💧 So I got the term but not use it, I use 'Frisk' instead becouse player well, admit sounds weird 😅

@@kreator-blackmoon9977 well isn't an theory in this point since in deltarune the game made by the same creator Toby Fox wanted the player to be Canon and be represented as determination at this point, search deltarune snowgrave route video about it's details because is good you see It yourself but the player is Canon and frisk is the vessel because in the reset star frisk is doing something but the player doesn't see It only the narrador(Chara) does it and Chara literaly say is you doing for the genocide in his end "but the "you" is probably frisk" and "and "we cound see from frisk's eyes" well then Chara cound simple wound call them frisk and there's was no longer any battle left It was Just you and an Demon wanting to make an deal =) ,other evidence is literaly the game It self Flowey Messing with you game files,the trailer saying "where nobody has to die" unless you yourself does It and frisk literaly does nothing If isn't an Cutscenes.

Welp, but still prefer my version more so I don't think that I will be Follow this fact, I mean player still will be exist as Frisk but I won't be treat this name as another being like some people like showing Frisk as child afraid of player taking control at his/her body and player as pure evil, this fact I don't like this is why I prefer do this in my way, player won't be pure evil but 'ordinary person which thinking about Frisk's life as only game make stupid choices which actually have consequences' sounds more realistic, don't you think~? ☺️

@@kreator-blackmoon9977 player it's not pure is "Real life people" besically us here(this conversation reminds me a LOT of DDLC that we also are in a simulation that interacts with many world as the-never-ending-tale movie descripts this conversation) we are players that inicially treats every world as an game but slowly we finds out that this world is the fourth-wall game (like DDLC) and we do explore every single possibility and paths which let's us to do genocide we do regret doing It but the consequences never ends which makes every pacifst(and maybe Neutral too) route "soulles" meaning we Lost our soul to Chara and their are in Control now and their never stop doing genocide in the end of It because Chara got Twisted mind-set that everything sole is about getting more Exp and increased their LV more(even thought It doesn't make sense since we "reset" our progress over and over again maybe their let us explore the game but doesn't matter what you their in Control now and you can't do NOTHING to stop them).
