Many years ago when I was in a pitch black space of soul I took up the guitar. And wrote down my vision of a 'place' being together with people sharing that friendly passion of music and life. Optimism, development and work with a peaceful purpose. It felt much like Oscar Petersons Hymn To Freedom. And it feels much like what to my greatest delight has been achieved by all of you. In a nutshell, wonderful Thankyou 🌻:)

What a treat for fans of Joan Chamorro's SAJB. Watching a whole gig highlights that the whole front line sing multiple languages and play at least two instruments, and also how outstanding the arrangements are. Alba Armengou's expansive performance on the encore Maria das Mercedes was a sublime climax.

This was a treat to watch. Alba A. has just come so far in the last year! (and she was already excellent+ then, in my opinion) And this subset of the band is just loaded with talent. I've heard Koldo sing before in other videos, but it seems he has really come in to his own now. Also, this version of "quatro toques" was excellent, a good closing number. I'm glad this performance was captured on camera, it's a good one. Thanks for the set list, Paul.

In no particular order: Joan Chamorro is a Prophet summoning up Antonio Vivaldi, Duke Ellington and Lambert, Hendricks and Ross. I remember when the Armengou sisters were little girls, what a difference a decade makes. Growth is universal in this realm. This is about as much music as anyone has ever gotten out of a little big band, EVERYONE gets to shine. Mutual support, versatility and teamwork are always the order of the day with Chamorro. The music commences, the healing begins and my day is complete.

I have seen so many other videos of you guys. You are the best in the World ! You are a credit to Joan Chamorro. Just a technical note - there's a ring on the PA at around 15Khz. It can be rolled down on the parametric equalizer - maybe 1 to 2 dB. Then you can adjust the monitors and lower the mix of Reverb (a tiny bit). It still sounds beautiful though. Love, Kev. 💚
