Santa Ana Manila Heritage Tour on Foot. Exploring the District that was once the Kingdom of Namayan

I have always wanted to explore Santa Ana Manila but never got a chance.
I have read its history as an old Moslem Kingdom of Namayan, centuries before the Franciscan founded the town in 1578.
It has one of the oldest, biggest and most beautiful churches in the Philippines, the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned. It also has the biggest concentration of beautiful, well-preservered ancestral houses. Santa Ana was thankfully spared from the destructions of WWII.
Santa Ana also has a lively local market. Make sure you try its famous Pansit Palabok partnered with Halo Halo.

Amazing upload! I grew up in Sta Ana, Manila. I was baptized in a beautiful Sta Ana Church & went to Elementary School in Punta. Thanks so much for taking me back to my childhood place. I love & will never forget my beautiful experiences in Sta Ana Manila, Philippines. Your video motivates me to go back in 2023 to see & visit the place. My birthplace..and i was baptized in sta.ana church year 1962 Remembered those days when i was in high school at Mariano Marcos...so many wonderful and happy moments in STA ANA I miss that place so much😊
