In 2002 when they had the wildfires in Simi valley that burned down 1200 homes in the same neighborhood where I lived I had sprinklers on my roof in my sprinklers on my bank because I had a half acre lot that was up against the mountain range on tapo canyon and it ran for two houses the same thing happened when the firefighter showed up and they hooked up their big hoses there was no water pressure it's not their fault because when you tap into a system that was built 40 years ago with only 6 inch water pipe which should be 10 in water pipe that's what the problem is not enough volume same thing down on play the video where all the houses burned all those houses were built during the 30s 40s and 50s they only had 10 inch water mains out of ductile iron so they had to watch the water pressure people need to understand that when you up put a lot of houses all together in an area that only had five and you put 5,000 don't have enough water pressure and Flow

Santa Ana winds is not what we called them back in the early days of California when I was a kid, where we called them Santana winds, which means scary in Spanish. So, if you were to ask me the term Santana is a more appropriate word for the winds we have been having recently.

generally our water season is end of january to end of april. barely in may it starts feel like spring, then it's summer right away. but over time our water season is no longer in decemeber and january, it's shifting to primarily be the heaviest parts in february and march. so it's not suprising it's this dry in early january that's relatively common it was previously dry decembers, but now this is further shifting deeper and deeper into january. i'm thinking give it a few weeks we will start seeing more rainy weeks, and once it gets started it will seem like each week is full of rain.
