So am I. Getting training doing aerotow at Sonora Wings, AZ. Might solo tomorrow. Need a baton chart for a WW Falcon 1 225 though. My brother and I both are doing the training at the same time there. It's so awesome!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing, I wish we had that type of flyong weather in France end of December :). Great flying, great site, great landing. Thx.

Santa Barbara is amazing! We feel so lucky to have it. While every other California site not working or mediocre in the winter, SB shines. It's actually the best part of the year for this site!

SB is a great destination place to go fly, especially if you are going on a trip with others that don't fly. As a destination it's beautiful with tons to explore. A trip to explore California is definitely in your future! How is the training going?

@@chadca Training is going great. My brother did his first solo today and had a weak link break on first take off but his solo flight went very well. I am doing my first solo on Tuesday I hope.

My favorite winter site! After a rain if it's sunny it's 4 grand over every time!🎉 Pine mt. Over the back is a good XC site.

@@Malkus1 Yeah he crashed into the sea and drowned a few years back. Still find it hard to believe. He's soaring up in the sky with the angels now. RIP Brother, we love you and miss you, Chris.

This ...seems...unsafe.

The idea of having no control over my legs and just dangling like that to one strap with which looks like no parachute as well, Yeah, seems super unsafe lol.
@ericoschmitt3 ай бұрын
@@cody680 What looks like one strap are actually 4 stitched together. Each one could hold a small car. The whole equipment, from harness to carabiner to the glider holds at least 6G with max load, just like airplanes. And yes, there is also a parachute on the right side. Modern hang gliding is actually pretty safe.
