“Schlanta Claus” really cooked with this beat, it’s almost as hard-hitting as the Big Guy himself back in ‘99!

my favorite part of this song is when "jschlatt" said "it's schlating time" and schlatted all over the place. with the band playing tutti ito the dominant

99% sure this is either identical to or very similar to the arrangement behind Sinatra when he recorded this song. Cool tip of the hat to the inspiration for this project 😂

@@jenkinsfamily2229 oh it's absolutely super inspired by it, based on it just with some different harmonies, as well as the backgrounds being changed at many points

This is amazing - thanks so much for sharing! I'm trying to make an arrangement of another Christmas tune for my school's big band, so this is really helpful. Would you mind sharing Mr. Thomas Scott's gmail address? Also, what music notation software did you use for this? Again, thanks so much and have a great day.

Is there anyway that you can provide me the score for personal use? Or would I need to contact the guy you did
@shiviuses10 күн бұрын
Hey how are you? So I was just going over the piece and I noticed that the entire thing is in concert pitch, meaning that it is very impractical to play. Is there any way you could make a video in transposing pitch or better yet recommend a software where I can slap images of this video and get a transposing pitch result so I can play it at home?
@sus-kupp5 күн бұрын
learn to transpose or play a normal instrument 🤷♀
@sus-kupp5 күн бұрын
in all seriousness musescore has a tool that converts images to musescore project files that you can transpose with the app

on page 5, Is the line the trombones are playing a reference to sleigh ride? I could've sworn that exact line is in sleigh ride.

It's a common figure in jazz . Sleigh ride happens to make use of it and it's somewhat tongue and cheek here :)
