When will 2926 run excursions, cause this locomotive just *DESERVES* to run! Y’all took 20 years and around $3,000,000 to restore her, so y’all hard work needs to be payed off!

From UK been a member of the 2926 Society. I do hope what happened to a loco I put a lot of money into in Britain doesn’t happen to you. The Great Western Society spend over a million pounds into repairing a GWR King class locomotive (sister engine to King George V that went to the B&O celebration in Baltimore in 1927) for running on the Mainline at up to 75mph! Trouble was after 20 years of reconstruction the clearance diameters on the network had been altered for more modern slimmer trains, so basically shes to big to run on the mainline and is now restricted to running at 20mph on private railways and is transported from its shed in Didcot Oxfordshire to these locations on a large truck. Just hope you find somewhere to run it as I hope to take the SOUTHWEST CHIEF from Chicago to Albuquerque in the near future for a run!

Unless they upgraded to the same system as 2816 and 4014 recently, No. For this brief move though they don't need it.
