Wow an old person! I don't hear about many of y'all. I'm 73 and almost everybody wherabout I learn is young, usually 68 or younger, or at most within a few years of myself. Now I hear about many friends' parents reachin to 90, which I never heard of durin childhood.

I'm 75 and this Hoppy movie, and others, seem like the Saturday Morning Fun Club at the old Alabama Theater on Shepherd Drive in Houston. It cost only a dime for a whole Saturday of movies.

Back in the mid-80s our Saturday afternoon PBS would feature an oater followed by "Matinee at the Bijou." MatB was like being a kid in the '30s spending a nickel to catch a newsreel, cartoon, short, serial and a feature film, often times another B western and sometimes Hoppy. Some of my best memories of watching tv were these Saturday features. I always loved old westerns and the uploaders of these movies make my day. Thank you very much.

Its fun to watch the horses in some of the shows. They have character at times, chewing the reins or sniffing each others noses. Wagging tails, lots of fun stuff.

That Medicine man stole the show. Somebody already mentioned the Insomnia line but another one was. A lady wrote to me told me her complexion was all spotty and broken out. But after just one bottle her skin was like a peach....fuzz and everything 🤣

At 56:05 / 1:05:23 Seems like town folks would wonder why Ma Burton comes into town with a load of vegetables and all those men on horses following her. Like they would be suspicious or figure that's a mighty valuable load of vegetables! LOL

Was it always under the guise of "Doc Bates" whenever he (Earle Hodgins) played or portrayed a medicine show man on film? I never caught that probably because it's few and far in between. Similar in vein to "Windy" or "Gabby" performed by George Hayes, or "Nugget"...or any of them really? Lol

I always think it's funny in westerns, you Never see anybody tie their horse up. They always make some half-assed attempt at wrapping the reins around the hitching post. Most of the horses I've been around would just laugh and run off.

you'd think just for once, they would change the plot. big mouth strikes again, beat the crap out of cassidy, get away with the loot, and force them to change the plot. it's the same deal in every episode, with a few minor alterations. their just telling us, that we're to stupid to notice. you might ask yourself why do i bother watching ? the stunts are good, the scenery is relaxing, and i need something totally no brainer, to take my mind off of the real mess, their making of the real world. have you ever tried talking to a computer, in league with the telephone company. or finding a person to serve you. and food that is processed instead of natural. and those horses are breed for pet food
