I was born on this island and left with my parents when I was 5 to live in Canada. I went back to visit a few times, can't believe I was born in this beautiful place. My grandfather was the lighthouse keeper on the island's main lighthouse. Thanks for posting and sharing your wonderful video.

I'm from Portugal, and only this year I found the beauty of Santa Maria. It was completely out of my radar! I really want to go there soon :)

Santa Maria has a special place in our hearts. The nature was beautiful and we liked that it was not overtouristed. Definitely worth a visit!
