Hello, this kit is looking spectacular on you. If, as you say, it is the second kit you have built, the result is amazing. I have already built several kits and, honestly, I do not reach this level that you demonstrate. My congratulations. You have described it perfectly: it is a very complex 3D puzzle that requires that all the pieces fit together perfectly and, above all, that none are missing. Despite the difficulties, the result could not be better. Regards.

Hi Raul, Thanks for the nice compliment. Yes, in being my second ship model build I’m taking my time and thinking every step through. Plus patience.

Van, you are doing an amazing job with this build, and according to your comments you have received the missing parts yet. Hopefully they can be send to you in a timely manner. I completed the shipway and was prepared for my surgery and was diagnosed with COVID and have been feeling quite ill. What a streak of bad luck! Again, you are doing great as far as I am concerned.

Thanks Joe for the nice comment. Hope you start feeling better. I had Covid first part of July. Don’t think I’ll be receiving any replacement parts anytime soon. Especially from the comments Pavel Nikitin made yesterday and my reply. If you haven’t, read them. Plus the one he made to Raul.

I am definitely 100% saving up for this model, but first, I've decided to practice on some other models. I bought the Niña kit from Artesania Latina, the Pinta kit from Amati, and a little Pavel Nikitin kit called Boat... that's it, it's just called Boat.

ciao, ehm mi sembra che tu abbia seguito le istruzioni alla lettera, sono le parti sbagliate... hi, um it seems to me that you followed the instructions to the letter, they are the wrong parts...

I normally model 18th and 19th century ships. I would like to say you are doing an outstanding job. The weathering looks really good. I'm not clear but it seems to me the company you got this kit from is telling you that you're wrong? How arrogant can they be? Anyway., I'm sure you and others won't be bothering them on future kits. Hope you're having fun with the build process and make many more in the future.

David, Thanks for the nice comment. Not sure if you had a chance to view the first three videos of the Santa Maria in this series. In them I point out the missing pieces, miss marked planks, and planks that are to short. The Manufacturer is having a hard time with this. Blaming me for assembly errors. According them my work so far is “ Mediocre “. Customer relations at its finest.

Unfortunately this kit is too complicated for you. And you sometimes just ignore the advice of the instructions. In two months on our channel we will start publishing videos on building this ship, if you will not be in such a hurry you will have the opportunity to build this ship well. So far you're doing very mediocre. I'm afraid that when you get to the rigging and installation of sails the complexity will be insurmountable for you....

Well Pavel, Your customer service rating is about, let me see, -1. If you’re going to run an international company, you should never berate and belittle your customers. It’s not a good look. As a company you’re showing your true colors. Many viewers and customers will see this and understand it. Not sure of the culture in the Ukraine. Being stubborn and taking a autocratic attitude will not work. Never has, never will. This kit isn’t complex. It becomes complex when there are pieces missing, parts are miss marked and manufactured incorrectly. Plus, the instruction booklet is not in chronological order. Bouncing around like a pinball. One thing I do agree with you about is the rigging and sail install. It’s going to be tough when I’m missing 33 rigging blocks and the sails are POS’s at best. Well Mr. Nikitin, I need to get back to work my mediocre attempt of your kit. There’s one thing you can’t do and that’s take the wind out my sails.

@PavelNikitinShips This comment is unfortunate. How can you say that a customer's work is mediocre? How can you not accept that your kit contains errors that make assembly difficult? I understand that from a professional's point of view, this assembly diary may have defects, of course. But this person is an amateur who just wants to have a good time and create something to be proud of later. He doesn't plan to make a living out of it, as you probably do. I am another buyer of your kit. And I have also been missing pieces. And I received a board without the pre-cut pieces. And I don't quite understand the instruction book. I have claimed all this by email and I have been waiting three months to receive the missing pieces. Will I ever receive them? I don't think so...

@@vanmacvideos3774 Good day mister, I'm sorry I don't know your name. I do not speak English, so I write through Google translator, and it most likely can not yet accurately translate from my language to yours. Perhaps because of this my previous answer looked rude to you, I apologise for this, I did not mean to offend or insult you in any way. Now about the ship you are building. I hope you realise that nobody knows its construction and sequence of building better than me. I spent four years on this project and built this ship twice with my own hands. On your construction I see obvious mistakes, and it is almost impossible to correct them. The reason I think is that you are in a hurry, and not very carefully look at the drawings in scale 1:1. If you are interested I can point out what mistakes you have made. Believe me, when you start rigging, there is no need to make mistakes, that's why I advised you not to hurry and wait for the video lessons. There is a common opinion among professional modellers: when rigging starts, then you start building the model, everything that was before will seem like a holiday. And on the blocks, the kit has all the necessary blocks for wiring, I will say more, in each position there are a few spare blocks. There is also a reserve of ropes, but you can use them differently....)) Regards Pavel.

@@raulsanz5604 I was in no way trying to offend the author of the channel. And it is of course important to me that there are no errors and missing parts in the kit. But the author has mistakes in the assembly, and I can see them at once. Something can be fixed, and something can't. All I want for the author is to try to protect him from mistakes in the future, and it is because he is not a professional builder of ships, and the set is really complex. It's just that the real complexity is yet to come....

@@PavelNikitinShips Pavel, I have a few more thoughts on your comments. You seem worried that I’m rushing this build. As of today, it’s coming up on 6 months and 450 hours since I started. Not rushing. If I made all these obvious mistakes, then why do the rail caps on the bow deck, main deck, mid deck and stern deck fit perfectly ? You seem concerned about the rigging when I reach that point. Go back and watch the last four minutes of my HMS Beagle by OcCre video. You’ll see my first attempt at rigging and rope ladders came out fine. By the way, OcCre rigging instructions were backwards. Made adjustments for that error. I found rigging wasn’t that hard. Just work in layers. I keep seeing the word Professional everywhere. Professional of what ? All we’re doing here is gluing some pieces of wood together and tying some string between two sticks. Being respectful of the process. One can make this journey as difficult and complex as they want. I choose not too. Some modeler's have a different skill set than others. Some will improve these skills. Remember, I’m not building this ship model for you. I’m building it for me. You just provided the kit. Which I appreciate the time and effort you put in. My vision is not going to match yours and I prefer it to be that way.
