🌿 Very nice captures of so much wildlife, beautiful nature scenes too! I recognize a few of the bird calls in the background: Red-winged Blackbird, Spotted Towhee, Great-tailed Grackle 🌿

these are some amazing shots! which parts of the Santa Monica mountains did you film?

I filmed many of these scenes near Castro Crest, Malibu Creek, Malibu Springs. I was based near Agoura Hills and Cornell, and was moving around from there. A few trails that I remember exactly by name, recommended for hiking as they were super beautiful last spring, are: Castro Crest Backbone Trail (amazing), Encinal Trail, Paradise Falls near Thousand Oaks.

Resting in the bushes, near a lake. The lake was near Cornell. I think the lake is not there anymore now, it's been drained after the fires.
