God of War developer Santa Monica Studio is working its newest IP, instead of another God of War game, according to the profile of Glauco Longhi who has rejoined Santa Monica Studios as a Character Supervisor on the new IP. The latest from Santa Monica is believed to be a Sci-Fi IP led by God of War 3 and Star Wars Fallen Order director Stig Asmussen, so what could the future hold for the latest game?

I would love for God Of War to open its open world with dlc or just make more areas accessible and have a bigger map with more story and side quest

Thor is going to Celtic where he is being worshipped as Dagda one of the gods in tuatidanon. Just the theory

i think it'd be cool to see adult atreus take on the egyptian pantheon or the japanese shinto or hindu gods. we already went through norse and greek mythology, which has enough gods to make multiple game stories out of, so obviously it has to be another polytheistic religion or culture. the japanese shinto has an almost aggrivating amount of deity choices, as does the egyptian mythology. it'd be cool to see artreus fight amaterasu, izanagi, raijin, ect. although an anubis, horus fight or a combo god fight with osiris and isis would be absolutely legit. we know that between kratos and faye's genetic mixing, atreus will probably grow to be even more powerful than both of his parents combined since he actually made kratos struggle in bear form as just a 14 year old untrained boy in ragnarok. also, i hated atreus in the first game but came to kind of love his character in the second game, so it'd be cool to see his story play out since we kind of already know kratos' story closure.
