@@livelistenerased hi yes I did enjoy it, a decent fair and balanced overview. I'm looking forward to hearing the next one. Also I felt the Santana 4 review was probably (i know opinions are opinions) I thought it was a good comeback record. It should've been done around about the time of Freedom when they did a one off gig at the Shoreline and they sounded really good. I think Carlos left it too long and why they didn't tour and build it up ---that was a debacle. They certainly got the best reviews and photo opps I've seen for years and years around the band. Maybe Carlos didn't want those o/g guys to get a look-in again?? It certainly felt like it was sabotaged.

@@TheMacasso My knowledge in 80s Santana was somewhat limited but after starting this series it opened me up to a different time in the bands history. You have given me something to read into so thank you for that. If true than yes it would be massive delay but sometimes contractual obligations and touring can get in the way of writing music and maybe the stars managed to align when Santana IV came out. If it was recorded back in the late 80s that would have made for a very interesting listen.
