Idk… my husband had a husky that was virtually silent his entire life. I could occasionally get him to “talk” a little but he rarely mad any noise at all. Even with provocation. However, my APBT / Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix woos, howls, argues, huffs, snorts, and yells… ALL THE TIME. Well, when he’s awake anyway.

We had a Border Collie/English Springer Spaniel/Shetland Sheepdog who talked quite frequently (she had definite opinions about many subjects). Funny enough, she seldom barked (only when there was something serious to alert us to).

We need a video on how various dog breeds would approach being mustered to pull Santa’s sled instead of Rudolph. The goofy Labrador retrieving all the gifts thrown down the chimney and not getting the issue about that. The Amstaff/Pittie going “Humans! I LOVE humans!”. The Great Dane getting stuck in the chimney. The Afghan Hound getting its flowing locks all mussed up (but achieving record times). The Boxer thinking it’s a rave party and getting the sleigh’s lines all tangled. The Chihuahua making it into a military style covert operation (come to think of it, that could be the Dobermann too, maybe they could team up). Perhaps throw a cat in there, make it a Siamese, who wants to be in charge of the bad kids. The Newfoundlander thinking it’s a water mission and diving into the sea. The Border Collie having a nervous breakdown because stuff gets thrown and he can’t go after it… or cramming too many deliveries into one time slot and giving the reindeer an inferiority complex. The Chinese Crested or the Mexican Hairless getting frostbite.

.........I'm a costumer. A few years ago, a lady bought a 750 dollar gown from me....quite a chunk of change....expensive for her and 3 months of work for me to make, and she didn't even get a chance to wear it once because her two huskies broke into the bedroom via bodyslam, CHEWED A HOLE THROUGH THE CLOSET DOOR, and ATE it in the "All Day News Coverage" kind of way. Bits and pieces strewn all over the house, clumps of slobbered-on fur, beads and pearls everywhere. I felt so bad for her I remade it at cost and added a line to my warranty that covered "Acts of God, dogs, or small children"

What a story! I bet the lady was beyond furious of her dogs but forgave them since they’re her fur babies. It was really kind of you to make a new gown for and adding your extra warranty! I hope the lady got to wear her beautiful gown. 😁… my mom told me that when we had a Dachshund, we named her Peanut, she looked like one, my mom told me she shredded up my dads new trench coat (this was in the late 60s and trench coats for men were very popular for businessman), my dad wanted to drop kick Peanut like a football lol, but she acted cute and innocent and wagged her tail, looked up at my dad and he picked her up and said he can’t be mad at her. My mom always had the bedroom closets closed but somehow squeezed into their bedroom closet and went to town, she threw up a button lol, we had Peanut for a long time, no other clothes were harmed. 😉

Well, as a husky owner I can say: unfortunateley yes, they are drama queens xD not all the time, you're right, they just like conversations and exspecially complaining. But for example as my husky had a little scratch (as a puppy, I should say), he cried so loud and long (about 40 seconds nonstop!!!). I went to the vet and the vet said it is riddiculous and like nothing, he was just making drama...and as someone stepped on his tail about a few weeks ago (but the very end of the tail, just the last few hairs), he also cried so loud (I was in a supermarket!) and ran through all the supermarket to find the person and to complain personally!! Also when I am 4 metres away from him, but he is on the leash and can't get to me, he is crying and barking so loud haha even if he is able to see me and I'm not that far away...But as something happened in a dog play and also in the woods (he must have stepped on a sharp stone or something) he didn't even realize the very bloody bite hole and scratch. So absolutely no drama queen there. I guess it depends (whether a person is involved or not). Making drama means attention (cuddle or food) and that only makes sense when a person is involved.

My husky is weird in the sense that she never destroys anything when we leave her home alone, she just sleeps waiting for someone to come home, we still have all the forniture we had when we got her When she was still a puppy she liked "reading" so we'd leave her an old newspaper so that she wouldn't destroy the books in the library but she grew up from that phase pretty quickly
