I'm going next week my uncle has a Pontoon boat and a jon boat ... We going out fishing for 2 days and 2 nights for some monster cats he lives right on the lake and I can drive there in less then 3 hours this will be my first Santee trip i been waiting to go since I was a kid and missed 2 opportunities to go and I'm not missing this one ! Wish me luck I'm hoping to catch a PB cat .. my PB right now is a 20lb channel cat

Always fun! I love Carolina King, been going there for years. It’s nostalgic for me. Not 5 star by any means but has everything you need. I’ve stayed in most all available. The M cabins are fine if it’s you and a buddy, little on the small side, otherwise any of the A cabins are great, think they’re all waterfront side 👍

Carolina King is the funniest place ever. The guy thinks he owns Jack's Creek. We call him the grumpy cajun. He charges to launch and increases the price every year. The Carolina King is a dump. His shop has nothing but catfish crap that is fifty years old.

lol, I’ve been going there for a very long time. Before I moved to Florida we would stay there 2-3 times a year. Lots of good memories. It’s an interesting place and you certainly best follow the rules or your going to catch an ear full but I personally can’t wait to go back next spring 😂
