Use her own building as her Senate Office, for free --> This is crazy because this denies the ability of her assets to produce revenue. 2. Rent space to a different entity for her Senate Office and just let other people rent her building's space --> This is okay but it removes the fact that option #3 is much more convenient 3. Rent her own space for her Senate Office. --> This is the most convenient for her case especially for her health. And until the law changes and makes this illegal, this makes much more sense to a wise individual. The fact of the matter is: - Regardless of where she chose to rent space for her Senate Office, the taxpayers would still have to pay the exact rental fee (since she based it on market value) - There is no conflict of interest here and this act is not illegal. This similar (not exact) practice is widely used even down from the baranggay levels If the owner of SM is elected as a Senator, it doesnt mean that SM Department Store can no longer supply food to the government.
