When you watch these types of movies in the proper context, taking into consideration the time era and budget you can see that these would be extremely entertaining to people of that time. Waldo and Dr. Adler built an impressive squad. They were like 15 deep going after "the silver mask"

And no one's gonna talk about how El Santo picks up some random chick, drives her to the middle of nowhere and starts making out even though he's already clearly hooked up with Gloria? What an amazing movie though. I liked the fight with Santo and El Vampiro in the ring for how much energy both performers put into it and the set design was a lot of fun. I'm sure this already felt dated and campy when it was originally made but everyone is giving an earnest performance. Great way to wind down a Cinco de Mayo.

This is one of the most silliest movies ever filmed. The monsters themselves were comical, and most of the filming was done during the day. Yeah, vampires do not come out during the daylight.

Not entirely true. In Bram Stoker's Dracula novel, it states that vampires can be daywalkers as well, except their powers and strength are greatly reduced. It wasn't until Hollywood got ahold of Dracula that the trope of "sunlight kills vampires" started.

Not sure why they needed to wake up the other monsters. Clone Blue Demon and those other guys proved capable of overpowering Santo on their own, the "genius" mad scientist just needed to plan a better ambush than that absolute bungle in the woods 😂

Look 👀 I don’t speak 🗣 Spanish but I live in the United States 🇺🇸 but this Mexican Movie 🎥 should have an English dubbed made by Sandy Frank from just for kids home video on vhs 📼 from the late ⏰ 1980’s but this movie is kind of a mix between Hollywood films 🎥 that were flopped in the box office in the 80’s with Wrestlers 🤼‍♂️ and Classic Monsters 👹 like The Monster Squad (1987 Movie) and No Holds Barred (1989 Movie)
