Hey man, just wanted to comment for engagement alg, and also thank you for making nioh 2 content. Your beginner guides really helped me stick to the game. I remember trying out nioh 1 and never finishing. Thanks to your series it was a lot easier to stick to nioh 2, and even though in only like 7 main missions in, I think this might become my new favorite soulslike of all time! Cheers man!

Hes using a mod, basically it makes some moves that are unusable in the base game usable. Example: nioh 1 had a sword move during living weapon where you did a big flurry spin thing at the opponent. It wasnt in nioh 2 for the character, but npcs who use living weapon can still do those moves, like William. Also I think the mod allows him to put any combo on any button input, like sword of meditation being block triangle, but changing it to just holding triangle is simpler and allows more freedom to combo.

Move is omnislice. Although it is part of the mod that allows it to use after a high stance strong from sword, you can do it after blue moon in vanilla.
