Indeed, you can't compare him or anyone with Ustad Salmat Ali Khan. Having said that, I do believe you can't find anyone near him when it comes to classical singing these days. If you look other classical "Gharanas" you will see there is void and that is because their respective descendants are incompetent. Sham Churasi is lucky as someone is carry their legacy. I have also noticed, He has improved a lot in recent years.
