Sanyasa Yoga : Yogas causing Asceticism

Many people want to renounce the world just to copy another person. Such people may make an attempt and fail and come back to worldly life. That is because your Karma should permit you to become a Sanyasi. For all others it is going to be in a future life only. Many masters of Astrology have covered this aspect according to their opinion on the matter. In this video I have taken the opinion of Maharshi Parasara as stated in Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra Volume 2. When you become a Monk it will be spontaneous. There will never be a planning to make such huge karmic changes. It will happen suddenly and fast. If you ruminate over this then it means you are not yet ready for this in this life.

You are absolutely right sir, but the problem is that I am the only one in my family earning income. My mom and my sister (they are my whole family) are also becoming nuns. That means we have to give away (as charity) our house, shop and other properties. In some part of my life, due to some unforeseen reasons, if I want to come back to my regular life, I won't be able to because I will have no family, no house (most probably they will not come back for rest of their life). That's why i said "planning". Yes I want to be a monk but I am not sure for the whole life....

I have this Yoga very big in my horoscope Date of Birth , 8/28/1966 7 15 Am NYC , I have most all of these aspects , 4 planets in Cancer Jupiter 1 degree cancer , Mars 7 degree Cancer Venus 15 degree Cancer , Mercury 22 degree Cancer ~~~~my moon is at 13 degree Capricorn in the 5th house and Saturn is at 3 degree Pisces . Nice video. It would be instructive to analyze the horoscope of one of the greatest sages (and sanyasi) of modern times - the Sage of Kanchi or Swami Chandrashekarendra Sararaswati. He did not have 4 grahas in any one house, so what made him such a great sanyasi? His Moon is in Anusham (owned by Saturn) in the 4th house, and also aspected by Saturn in the 2nd house. The Moon is also aspected by Mercury, Sun and Jupiter all 3 in Taurus (10th house). The sun is powerful, being lagna lord placed in Krittika (own nakshatra) and in pushkaranavamsa. Sun and Mercury are in the same degree, so rather than Mercury being combust, it is Cazimi, making him unmatched in learning. Venus, lord of Taurus, is exalted. I wonder if, for such great souls, the D-60 chart would be more relevant. Your thoughts on all of this, Sri EKDKji, would be greatly appreciated.

The author of the JHora software, Sri PVR Narasimha Rao has 4 grahas in Aries in the 8th house. Two of these grahas, Venus and Mercury form a dharma karmadipathi yoga. In D-10, the lagna again is virgo and again, venus and mercury exchange houses between the 9th and 10th houses, forming an even stronger dharma karmadipathi yoga. In D-9, the lagna is Taurus and Saturn is automatically a dharma karmadhipathi planet on its own and in his case, has a direct aspect to the 10th house. Not only does his chart show a strong sanyasi yoga, but is an outstanding example of an extremely strong dharma karmadpathi yoga (present in D-1, D-10 and D-9) which indicates that his actions (karma) are in strong sync with dharmic values.

Note that according to your presentation, if Mars is the strongest of the 4 planets, then the person wears red a red cloth. In Sri Rao's horoscope, Mars is the strongest of the 4 grahas in Aries. If you go to his website, you will see a picture of him meditating in front of a ritual fire, wearing a red angOstram.

Sir, you should look at Vinod Khanna's chart. He always said - whilst he was at the peak of his acting career - that he did not feel at home there and always felt a pull towards adhyaatm (spirituality). He was a disciple of Osho. His chart also shows 4 planets in a house as well as Moon-Saturn connection (opposition). Moon is also in Saturn-ruled sign. Btw, I have the same as well - Moon-Saturn with Moon in Capricorn. Yes, I am quite inclined towards spirituality (more through jnaan and karm yog).

I think these rules matches my horoscope, sir. In my rasi chart, there are 4 planets in 7 th (pisces) house. Saturn is among those 4 planets and aspected by moon in 1st house. I have similar mindset but cant move on to this path. I think other planets positions are motivating me to worldly pleasures, especially rahu in 12th house and venus in 5th house.

I seem to have one of the combinations mentioned. My Aries Moon dispositor (Mars) is in mutual aspect with Saturn in the chart. Apart from receiving the Saturn aspect, Mars is also aspected by Ketu (9th aspect) so I am not sure if that cancels the condition mentioned in your video. Interesting to know that this may suggest a sanyas yoga. I also have another combination in the navamsa where my Atmakaraka (Saturn) is in Pisces, which I had read elsewhere also suggests renunciation at a later stage in life.

I know a chart with 4 planets in 10th house (Mars, Mercury, Moon and Sun). She is a Sagittarius ascendant. But, 10th lord Mercury is in retrograde motion and in its own house Virgo. So obviously, 10th lord Mercury is not strong. Saturn aspects this conjunction from the ascendant. Will this come under sanyasa yoga?

I don't think so. The rules are the same for men and women. However a soul that is leaning towards Sanyas OFTEN take birth as a man and rarely the birth of women. Reason is women are emotional due to hormones. If a lady becomes a Sanyas most probably they have less of the female hormones. These are my opinion. I may be wrong. Please do a research and find out for yourself.
