I saw these guys open up for AFI at the December Underground tour in 2006 at the house of house in Las Vegas back to back on Friday and Saturday. The cool thing was my ex and I and her sister only had tickets for Saturday night, but we took our chances showed up on the Friday night show and ran into smith * jades brother *AfI's tour manager. Smith remembered my ex gf from other past shows and he ended up putting us on guest list! Super cool dude and Saosin was awesome on both nites!

Cove has sounded better recently but he completely lost it for like 5 years. They are two different styles and two different levels of musician. Anthony is an icon of post hardcore. He's in a "supergroup" with LS Dunes because of who he is.

At first, I did not like what Anthony did on the vocals here. Sure, he can't be the same voice as he was on the album, I get that, but I was not liking it. But I keep coming back to this video now and I like how he has adapted in age in this version almost as much as the original after getting used to it. What a legend.

Is it just me or does it seem like cove just can't handle what it takes to sing anymore within the throat / vocal cords, and the audio just really seems to be quiet on some of the vocals from cove and just drawn over with audio from the instruments and back up vocals idk just something was off here for me. Band sounded great like always though, cove just seems to not fit in with them anymore
