@benmoser11 on In Search of Solid Ground it is called "The Worst of Me" This is from the Grey EP, which came before the album. Back then it was called Love Maker, which in my opinion is a way better song name.

1) they release eps to give fans a taste of whats coming, and to give them something whilst they're waiting for the new record. 2) the new record will probably come out in 2009, can't say when though.

nah he hasnt changed his set up.. i can tell, he still has 2 toms and 2 cymbals but no ride. and yes he has changed his style, hes in a new era of his drumming..i'm quite intrested to see what he does on the new album

Indeed. Alex is much more creative in his drumming, even though Barker is pretty solid. the old "fill in" drummer for the Translating The Name EP was Pat Mcgrath i think..

Barker is good, but Alex Rodriguez is astonishing. He's easily the most skilled drummer in Rock music right now. Other than the guy Saosin used on Translating the Name. I can't remember his name but he's amazing, and in my opinion more creative than Alex, but Alex can play all the songs he made for Saosin so skill wise he's just as good.

this isn't called love maker, it's actually "the worst of me" idk where people came up with the name "love maker" it's an honest mistake, but the album says the worst of me and check out 1:02 - 1:07

i wouldnt say that....i am positive travis could play all of alex's stuff with ease...it is just the style of music travis plays doesn't necessarily let him play to his full potential...i think travis is amazing...so is alex of course

i respect your opinion. but dude, its an ep. this is only the early stage of the song. its going to sound wayyyyy better on the actual album. like, think of the other songs. "sleepers" on the black ep? that wasn't very good.. but look how it turned out on the album. just keep that in mind :)
