SAP Business One for Manufacturing - Make to Stock / Make to Order Scenarios

SAP Business One can be used in make to stock and make to order manufacturing scenarios. Watch the recorded version of our webinar hosted December 2023.
In this session, we explain how items and bills of material (BOM) can be generated in the software. For the example, we show how both purchased products and sub assemblies can be created within a BOM in order to generate an end product that is lot/serial number managed.
We also show optional functionality including routing stages and resources. Routing stages help define your manufacturing process, such as design - build - inspect as a simple example but can be defined to include as many as you want. Use resources to define equipment, tools or labor/people used within a bill of material in order to apply costs to the product. Resource capacity can be used to enable visibility and planning for production availability.
Purchase Orders, the MRP (materials resource planning wizard) and production orders are also demonstrated.
