Hi, what is the offset cycle field used for?
@sap_dude2 ай бұрын
Hi Kylie, it’s used to move the due date (planned date, once you schedule the maintenance plan) by this value.

Question: what happens if I set Late Shift Factor (and completion requirement off), but then I don't ever TECO the call. Will the next call generate per it's set call horizon/planned date with no shift applied?
@sap_dude3 ай бұрын
Hello Christopher, The next call will be created without any shift. The late shift factor does not kick in as the prerequisite is not met (the TECO). Cheers, Dan

Good Video. How can I get the software to my pc?
@sap_dude10 ай бұрын
It’s a system, not software. You gotta work in a company who uses it. Alternatively, you can Google it and find some hints from other guys.

Nice explanation. One thing i want to confirm is the one regarding Scheduling period. Its for the visibility of calls in the future every time a plan is scheduled, correct? Doesn't mean, the plan will only be valid till 2 years if Sch.Period = 2years. And once 2 years have passed , ill have to change this parameter?
@sap_dude9 ай бұрын
You got it! Yes , the scheduling period means = calls overview period is restricted to 2 years. No you don’t have to change the parameter. The overview will be automatically extended. Example: Now you see an overview for orders till April 2026 (let’s say u have 2 YR set). Next month you will see an overview moved by one month, so till May 2026. Cheers, Dan
@sap_dude9 ай бұрын
Additional thing from my side - no the plan is not scheduled once, there is a background program which runs for instance every day in the morning (depends on you). That’s why the parameters will be ‘refreshed’ during every run of the program. Cheers man, Dan
