Sapa, Vietnam March 2018

Was there 5 years ago and absolutely loved the place; mind you it was a lot quieter when I was there than it appeared in this video. Vietnam is right up there as one of the best countries I have visited. When I returned back (only to Saigon) in 2018 I was amazed at the pace of change. Looks like Sapa is developing rapidly as well looking at the hill edge and new hotels. :-(

would you recommend visiting Sapa in March? how was the weather when you were there ? not to much fug?

@@mikeklusko4473, sorry for the late reply. The first day was great, really amazing, no fog what so ever. I did a 15km trek through the mountains. It was magical. Clear sky and hot weather. On the second day, OMG so much fog in the morning, I couldn't see 200 meters in front of me.

How safe is it to scooter around in general? I heart nightmares about bigger cities.

Sapa is ok for riding the scooter, once your outside the town the traffic gets less and is fine.

Yeah but you have to get out of the town first.

On that Toll Road....? Why aren't those passing mortos paying or stop, but only the Westerners/Tourists?

Maybe they are the local.. They dont have to pay everytime they go home..
