great to see this video Suggestions are -> 1) After clicking the dev space , to load the editor , BAS expects the browser to be in the foreground (otherwise the progress to load the editor is stopped) . You cannot switch to other tabs as well. 2) Also it is hard to see the white dev-space loading screen at night till it loads my black-themed editor. 3) Any chance to automate hdbtable find its csv , like how it happens in cds CAP, Thanks

Hana HDI db development using CDS. SAP HANA native application , new feature from BAS ?

Yes this is a relatively new feature in Business Application Studio. Added just about a month ago. There is a new dev space type and the HANA tooling can be added to other dev spaces as well (for instance the CAP one).

Hi, I cannot see the Start From Template is not showing "SAP HANA Database Project" Also I cannot see the HDI(Database Connections) which i had already created and deployed may tables and Calculation views earlier.

It sounds like your devspace is not of the correct type. If you are missing the HANA tools, stop your devspace and edit it to add in the HANA tooling.

Hi, I'm wondering if SAP HANA could be used with AI. Il working on a small project rn, and im wondering if I could use this platform to recommend tenders.(based on certain criteria)

That's an extremely broad question which makes it difficult to answer in real detail. HANA, as a database, can of course be used in many different technologies and applications. So certainly, in the general sense it can of course be used in an AI project. Now the specifics of what programming model/language you want to use it from and what you want to use it for will impact the details of that answer. [Thomas Jung]

can you explain the crud operations in sap hana??

Not sure what you mean here. You want to know what CRUD is? CRUD is just an acronym for Create, Read, Update, and Delete. Or really need to know how to do those things in HANA? If the later then you use SQL statements like in most any other database. There are INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE, and DELETE SQL Syntax supported by HANA that matches the SQL standard. [Thomas Jung]

In BAS We are unable to do data preview at intermediate nodes in a calculation view, is there any other way for this

Intermediate data preview is not offered yet. I don't have any details on available timeline but did post the question to a colleague internally.

Ok, do you know that you pronounce Hana wrong? You've been pronouncing it wrong for years. It's not Hauna, it's Hana. Like Abap, not Aubap. "A" as in Anna, you don't call your aunt Anna Auuna, do you?
