Exactly my thinking. How hard would it be to cushion the fall and preserve the integrity of the slab you just spent a million hours cutting?
@theonlybuzz19695 жыл бұрын
Don Kennedy I was thinking along the same lines that I would have expected multiples of tons of crush and run on the base at least 1 to 3 metres thick, that way it would have protected the giant blocks integrity as a whole piece. So I wonder if they then crush it for the customer?... LoL
@bwacuff1695 жыл бұрын
The only thing that explains what we're seeing here - the time spent and then wasted........this had to have been a union job :p
@buggsy55 жыл бұрын
@@bwacuff169 How was the time wasted? There is no way it would have come down as one piece. That fault would fail regardless of how well everything was cushioned. There will be some material that cannot be cut into large rectangles, but there are plenty of other uses for smaller pieces.
@bwacuff1695 жыл бұрын
@buggsy5 That's the point: why did they go to all the trouble if there was no way to keep that from breaking? They could have achieved the same result in minutes with some professionally placed explosives like the rest of the world does.

Except for large blocks like that, they do not drill and use wedges. The slice all sides first, either with an abrasive wire or a long stone cutting blade.
@splibb5 жыл бұрын
@@buggsy5 so none of it is the same!
@buggsy55 жыл бұрын
@@splibb I suspect that almost all large block quarries use abrasive wire to do the cutting. There is less waste and it is faster. I did find a video of a quarry making smaller blocks that used wedged holes. In their operation, they used thermal lances to burn the holes.

there are other videos that show that. but basically they drill a few small holes, and thread first a string thru that they pull in a WIRE WITH DIAMOND- CHERAMICS SEGMENTS ON IT AND THEN THEY CONNECTS THE 2 ENDS OF THE WIRE. AND PUT THE WIRE IN A MASKINE WITH WHEELS SPINNING IT + A FEW EKSTRA WHEELS THAT KEEP TENSION ON THE WIRE, SO THE DRIVING WHEELS DONT SLIP WHILE SAWING

fred grove .....you know they lie .... .....anyone can prove this to themselves .....honesty only needed ....the rest will follow ....open your mind. Globe believers (including all religions or cults who also attach to the Globe belief ) are in a cult of their own an don't even realise ....ask one for proof of the potato rock and they'll say I seen a picture on TV ...that's not real science ! ....or maybe a boat going over the imagery curve ....people who are part of the Globe cult know that everything they think they know would be lies and fantasy (Exo Planets 😳 so in order for them to keep their illusions they must be intellectually dishonest with themselves ....is that mad or what ?? That's why people who "believe" they live on a potato shaped rock (apparently it's potato shaped with the oceans removed) 😳😁 .... ......are really insane (being dishonest with ones own self) a danger to children's free minds ! Remember folks it's your children being systematically destroyed in every way imaginable ...vaccines junkfood fluoride TV social media hollywood worshipping celebrities (everything they say is scripted) that rot their minds and all the other garbage they're fed ! We all had a plastic globe rammed in our faces from birth !! Wake up an protect the weak minded and the young ! ....something everyone actually knows but will not acknowledge to themselves .....Vast oceans are demonstrably level observable measurable recordable and repeatable also scalable ....real science with real substance ....no mathematical jargon and pseudoscience. Research Euclid of Alexandria and understand visual and tangible geometry .....the lights in the sky are visible phenomenon and therefore unquantifiable .....that's a first principle we can all agree on ! .....the oceans say it all .....that is apart from common sense and simple logic. Avoid anyone who claims to have a model ...claims and ice wall on earth is a disk ....that's to muddy the waters ....flat Earth verse globe earth is a meme ....a strawman argument that's there to create a "debate" ....Mark Sargent and many others are controlled opposition ....avoid them ....95% of "flat Earth" is controlled to make everything look stupid. Go to ....Beyond The Imaginary Curve KZbin for real discussion and an insight of what "flat earth" is really all about.
