Sold my 4080 for a 7900XTX and I will never go back to Nvidia , this card is way better than my 4080 . I have the Red Devil.
@XxViciousxX9 ай бұрын
That is the other 7900XTX I was looking at another great GPU choice. Nvidia seems to be better at RT (which I don't like RT even on my 4090 as it kills your FPS too much) and DLSS is slightly better than FSR. So unless you want the most powerful GPU (RTX 4090) or have to have that RT turned on Nvidia seems to not really be worth the extra money at least in my opinion.
@CodeCube-rv1rm4 ай бұрын
There’s only a few scenarios where you really should choose the Nvidia: 1. You *must* have Ray Tracing 2. You need CUDA for AI/ML/Parallel workloads 3. You need Nvidia’s encoders for productivity work Otherwise, the Radeon is the way to go. It is a rasterization monster

@@Alex77-7 If you play mostly competitive games I'd grab a 1440p 240hz OLED and a 7900 XTX and save a little money. But if you want the best of the best a 4090 and a 4k pannel is also a great way to go. My main PC is a 48in LG C1 120HZ OLED and its great for AAA single-player games and still good for competitive games (but I'm not the best so my setup might be crap to a decent player) but the 4090 is just a great GPU but damn is is pricey so hard to recommend unless you want the best. But it is limited I believe to 120-144hz at 4k due to the ports. I think the 7900XTX actually has newer ports on it so it can support higher refresh rates (which it can actually hit in competitive games). I also really like this all AMD PC (which now has a 7800X3D because why not) and it's smooth as hell in shooters and still kicks butt in AAA titles so long as you don't like RT or are okay with turning on some upscaling if you want RT (which usually needs to be done on the NVIDIA side too at least at 4K) Sorry I though I responded I guess I did not lol.

@XxViciousxX thanks for the reply. I have the 7900xt and I've tried everything to stop the black screen issue I'm having but to no avail. I've got two more options to try. One is a new psu. My current psu only has 2 cables. So one needs to be daisy chained. Apparently the psu says its rated to 850w. But I'm beginning to think maybe that it's not as powerful as it states? Hence my screen refreshing randomly. As my previous 6700xt works flawlessly. It's only when I install either the 7800xt or 7900xt, I get the issue. If a new psu doesn't solve the problem. Then my only remaining hope is getting a better motherboard 🤷♂️
@XxViciousxX8 ай бұрын
@@boosivemotorsportofficial As long as it's a name brand 850w should be enough power but like you said you have to daisy chain so maybe that's something to do with it. I've always gone with slightly overboard PSUs. Mainly just to get the extra connectors as well as having the fans almost never turn on since neither of my PCs use much more than 420 to 500 Watts while playing a game. So you could always try getting a different PSU that has enough connectors and if that doesn't work then you can just send the PSU back and get your money back.
