Hi Jonathan! I'm not able to reply under your comment. :P No, all styles in this video are factory styles. Please search the web for PSR-S950/750 Data List document (available at Yamaha site), there you will find lists of voices and styles (listed in categories) available in the instrument.

James Fortas Hi! I have no idea where are you from ;), but here in Poland I see that currently S750 costs about $1155, only second-hands (still with warranty) are under $1000.

I thought your first Styles Medley was great, but #2 is even better. Thank you. Not only do they make me aware of combinations and uses that I have not considered or found, but they also show techniques that I haven't discovered. I have two questions. 1. I see you tap Styles Main Variations like B and then tap C immediately after. What is this doing for your arrangement? 2. I became aware that you were using the Fingered On Bass setting for chords in My Way. But, I didn't see you make any changes between songs. Do you always use that setting and just play the left hand in the first/root position usually? Thanks, I enjoyed and learned from your videos.

+Dennis Hayes Hi Dennis! I'm glad you find this video useful in any way. :) 1. There are four variations and four fill ins (for each variation) in a style. Their usage also depends on Auto Fill In function. When it is disabled (like I'm using it), you trigger a fill in by pressing the button of currently played variation. So when I'm playing variation B at the moment, I trigger fill in B by pressing B button, and change variation to C by pressing C button. When Auto Fill In is enabled, fill ins are triggered automatically by A-D buttons just by pressing the "second" button, I mean the target variation only. So when I'm playing variation B at the moment and want to trigger fill in and change variation to C, I just press C button (instead of B and then C). 2. You didn't see settings changing because of video editing - it's cut out. But changing the whole set of settings (voices, style, split point, chord fingering and maaany other) is as simple as pressing one button, because you can save them in registration memory (buttons 1-8) and recall immediately. ;)

I have used my left hand in a more traditional way (which makes some of my chord changes sloppy) - you hit the chord right on 1 and then release it. That makes the changes very precise. Thank you.

Hey, pictures used in this video are just edited photos. :) But there is more sophisticated (and simpler at once) method: insert USB drive while the keyboard is turned off, press and hold 3 voice buttons: Organ + Accordion & Harmonica + E.Piano and turn it on while holding these buttons. To make a screenshot (saved as .bmp on USB drive), press registration button 8. :)

The Yamaha-factor is very strong in this one... Those cheesy sounds... So glad I got rid of my S550... Only thing that sound is good for is actually playing Schlager which I occasionally like to do :p

Marcin Ryczko A Yamaha SY-77 and a phone haha... The only reason I kept the S550 was because of the few DX-sounds it has and I figured I would be better off with a real DX-machine. And well, my previous phone was dead and the SY-77 cheap as hell, so hence the phone...

No minuto 13:28 o velho, eterno e ultrapassado pianinho de brinquedo dos arranjadores da yamaha.. Isso é algo que a yamaha não consegue superar.. É uma vergonha para a marca.. tenho o meu(psr630) a quase 18 anos e é este pianinho de vergonha que ele tem.. os arranjadores de 1500 R$ das outras marcas já faz tempo tem sons reais de piano de alta qualidade.. nesse aspecto a yamaha está deixando muito a dessejar... Já passou da hora de dar baixa definitiva nesse pianinho ruim!. É extremamente vergonhoso a yamaha ter mantido ainda até hoje esse som de piano de péssima qualidade nos seus novos teclados arranjadores para vender o produto no valor que é oferecido no mercado do ramo, e que a galera já sabe o absurdo de caro que estam custando..
