HI Ash, nice video feel free to send me a msg I know a few spots you can check out and also a few other tips. the reddish gems are most probably Zircon are naturally found in a wide colour range such as greens, blues, orange, reds, yellow and clear they are heat sensitive. when it comes to colour if u heat one up on the stove element or hold a lighter to it it will change from red to orange then yellow eventually turning clear. some High Zircon are heated in a special low oxygen environment the heating of the stones will result in a blue Zircon like seen in the Cambodian and recently some African zircons

Thanks mate! That’s some super interesting insights - I don’t think I’ll be hearing them up but that’s amazing information to understand :) I’m still learning so I’m always happy for guru inputs

Nice video, was awesome to see your excitement finding that blue sapphire. Just out of curiosity though, how do you know that is red topaz?

I’m not too sure honestly! That’s why I said it was a guess in the video :) I’m going to head to a lapidary club to ask soon though

@Adventure Ash if you have scales you can always do an sg test, I've just never seen red topaz from that area so was curious. Awesome video though

It’s a person. You’ll see later in the video that Ash does have someone else with her, perhaps it is that person.

There are usually a lot of flies when there are cattle in the paddocks - so totally normal out here :)
