Benarasi Mithas - inter-woven both in Gayaki and Tabla. What a rendition of Raag "Bhatia" along with Tabla by our Bengal icon PT.Kumar Bose in Benaras Gharana with Aouchar of Pt. Kante Maharaj and PT.Kishen Maharaj. The tinge of cascading effect of rendition and acoustics of Benarasi Mithas in Tabla make the performance beyond any comment. It is not a performance, it is a Pranam to Supreme.

I consider myself to be fortunate enough to listen to the Panditjis rendering Raag Bhatiyar at around dawn. That was one of the best versions of the Raag that I had ever listened. Full of purity. Pt Kumar Bose has become incomparable.
