Ingredients:
Fish (Rohu, Hilsa, or Katla): 4-6 pieces, cleaned
Mustard seeds: 3 tablespoons (2 tablespoons black mustard seeds + 1 tablespoon yellow mustard seeds)
Green chilies: 4-5 (adjust according to taste)
Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon + 1/2 teaspoon for marinating
Nigella seeds (Kalonji): 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard oil: 4-5 tablespoons
Salt: to taste
Water: as needed
Instructions:
1. Marinate the fish:
Clean the fish pieces and marinate them with a little turmeric powder and salt. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
