Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, began her acting career opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the 2018 film Kedarnath, this was soon followed by the cop-action film Simmba, opposite Ranveer Singh, that was directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Sara Ali Khan confessed having a crush on actor Kartik Aaryan on Karan Johar's celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan, post which the two were introduced at an event by her Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh. It was later announced that Sara and Kartik will be working on the sequel of the 2009 romance-drama Love Aaj Kal that was directed by Imtiaz Ali. Interestingly, Sara's father Saif Ali Khan starred opposite Deepika Padukone in the first part of the film. 10 years later, Sara will be seen paired opposite Kartik Aaryan in part two of the film, also being directed by Imtiaz. While Sara has wrapped shooting for Aaj Kal, she is now busy shooting for a remake of the 1995 Govinda-Karishma Kapoor comedy drama, Coolie No. 1, opposite Varun Dhawan.

Kartik Aaryan made his debut in 2011 with Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The actor then starred in two more Luv Ranjan directed films - Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 as well as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Honestly Sara is tooo tooo good in giving answers and she has very good ability to generate answers to the questions asked just like impromptu... She would really come out as a good candidate in interviews which ask personality and scenario related question, she would ace them actually because of her being abroad and having good vocabulary followed by fluency.. whereas apna Karthik toh zyada bolte nhi h always depends on Sara when it comes to giving out impromptu answers. He never really gives a quality answers like Sara and always gives out blunt answers which are nowhere near to Sara's impromptu answers

When the producer said that Kartik is like Raghu in the second half, that is actually a very mean comment to make. Raghu in the second half (SPOLIER) cheats on his girlfriend with many women and the way the producer said that and Sara laughed and high fives it is very mean and they are not people to make such statements. Kudos to Kartik for not calling them out on it. Whatever may the reality be you cannot make statements as such, almost accusing Kartik's character and then simply laugh it off. My respect to Kartik for remaining professional even though the people sitting next to him were being very awful.

Learn from faridoon how to ask vulnerable questions. K and Sara both answered the are you in love question there- so sweetly- so organic and beautiful. Make the guests feel safe- don’t needle them and don’t force intimate questions prematurely...starting with who/what is your costar to you...and then sayin quite bluntly don’t sugar coat...wow. Of course they clamped up. Relax and smile...be warm. And use open ended questions- have you felt big love- yes or no lol???

Basically their humour and spark was not there (which was obvious) in their earlier interviews.. its like seeing real heatbreak happening here.. both are hurting. This is their last day of promotions..and can see all interviews on this day they were just acting out to finish the interviews and in one other interview ( PTC showcase) Sara was close to tears.....and the movie sadly got so negativity.. its a lot for a couple to go through..wonder what happened afterwards??
