Being a doctor what I could understand is that he has st elevation...so It's ACUTE myocardial infarction...that means heart attack...second his pulse is very low...Bradycardia...bp is also low. .n the main point is his cbg is also high...and he is a known asthmatic too...so these factors are adding to the worsening of condition...after he gets well from this condition....please have a check on his blood sugar frequently...Narayana is a good hospital...he will be fine..let's see what the doctors are telling there...but please in future take very good care of him atleast have a checkup 6monthly...have cbc, ur, cr, total cholesterol, lft , rft, fasting sugar and pp sugar checked...

He suffered a heart attack, medically called acute myocardial infarction ( ST Elevated MI). Probable cause high cholesterol and lipid levels in blood, leading to blockade in blood channel supplying heart. The medicines given are temporary emergency treatment but the main treatment will be to look for blockade in coronary vessels ( blood vessels supplying heart). Coronary angioplasty will help to look into possible blockade and if found a balloon or a stent will be used to relieve it. Troponin may be falsely negative and high sensitive troponin test along with other blood tests will be repeated. This surgery is done mostly in private hospitals having something called cath labs, financially will cost in around 2-3 lakhs in total if found to be blocked. So try arranging the sum, the government hospital options are limited. After the hospital stay, he will be on medicines but diet will form the most important part of preventing such future incidences. 6 monthly checkups are recommended. I recommend transporting him in a well equipped ambulance with oxygen supply must and a recommended portable ventilator due his asthmatic conditions. Best wishes for his recovery.
