My wife and I just saw Sara Evans in concert tonight at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe PA. What a beautiful lady with an incredible voice. She held some notes so long that the audience gasped in amazement. And she is a true class act. Sara saw a young girl with a small poster saying it was her birthday, so Sara stopped to talk to her and then got the whole venue and the band to sing "Happy Birthday" to her, and then signed an autograph for her. Definitely a good night for all that attended tonight!

Sara Lynn Evans has been singing in public since the age of four. I have seen her several times live and have never been disappointed by her vocal gift and stage presence. I played at Schooner's Tiki Bar in Bluewater Bay last night,...there had to be over 100 people crammed onto that little deck,lots of dancing, a good time was had by all. It was a farewell to the old Tiki Hut Bar, they just built a new one on the opposite end of the restaurant, we are going to be playing quite a bit there, most likely next Sat night,..I'll let you know. I had to learn this song, but do it in the Edwin McCain version,...I think he wrote it,..great tune!

Yep,...I was there too,great show,..was hoping to meet her and the band,..my friend's nephew plays fiddle and guitar for her,...his name is Jonathan Lawson,...his little brother Jordan plays mandolin and fiddle for Josh Turner. My friend's son which is Jonathan's cousin was supposed to be there, but one of their relatives they were going with who's wheelchair bound got real sick so they had to leave, bummer! Sara Evans is, for me, the most beautiful, appealing, and talented woman in Country Music today. I think that she really is wholesome and good hearted as well. I am sorry about the unfortunate circumstances that destroyed your family life. That is the drawback to belonging more to the public than to your own family. I stood the entire show by the left center bleacher, close to the outside sound board. I haven't listened to a lot of country music in the last decade. I did listen for decades before that, but recently I've mostly been listening to Christian music. But I stumbled across this video, which has Christian sentiments. I always thought Sara Evans was the top female country singer, better than Shania, better than Reba, equal with Patty. Way better than Taylor. Gotta go now and dig out all my old Sara Evans CDs for another spin.
