Sara Sigmundsdottir is one of the biggest names in CrossFit. With millions of fans all over the world, the her every move is followed and scrutinised on social media.
She has won countless events in her career and even boasts two podium finishes at the CrossFit Games. But her impact on the sport is far greater than just winning gold.
In September 2022, Sigmundsdottir embarked on a 100km bike ride to raise awareness and funds help a 13-year-old boy, Jói, as he battles a serious illness - Severe Aplastic Anaemia - a bone marrow disease which can be life threatening.
This is their story and how helping others can really make a big difference!
