A very, very long wait. Farrell is an arrogant asshole, a classless prick, and one of the dirtiest and (until very recently) least penalized players in world rugby. He’s begging for yellow or red cards constantly and he ought to get them more often.

That Wasps performance was outrageous. That was Wasps 2nd and 3rd team in some cases, against a team Sarries will probably choose against Leinster. Wasps managed the game superbly. I'm so proud of the boys. Also, Elliott Daly losing against his old club could not have been more brilliant. Dude left Wasps to win things.... Ha

@@BenJubb2 that's a good point. I made that comment because whilst he did play exceptional rugby, he was also a bit of a dick such as pushing Atkinson unnecessarily after play stopped. Maybe he didn’t intend a serious long term injury but there’s no doubt he intended to recklessly smash the guy and do some kind of harm..... And when you look at it a few times you’ll see that Atkinson, running, was past Farrell at the time, so all that was left that Farrell could do was hit him as he did. Despicable. He deserves a full and maximum disciplinary whack and punishment for this - 8 to 12 weeks and nothing less.

Finally! Finally a referee has the balls to issue a red card to Owen Farrell. Another ref might only have produced a yellow or even just awarded a penalty to Wasps. This was a nasty hit which could have resulted in a serious cervical injury. Farrell’s consistently glaring inability to tackle is not just his fault. All of his coaches must share equal responsibility. They seem not to have done anything to fix the problem. I also suspect that Owen Farrell himself might just be disingenuously relying upon this “flaw” in his game to justify some of his actions - “oh, sorry guys I didn’t mean it (nudge nudge wink wink) but you all know I’m really not a very good tackler. Sorry 😉 ”............ And when you look at it a few times you’ll see that Atkinson, running, was past Farrell at the time, so all that was left that Farrell could do was hit him as he did. He knew what he was at. Despicable. He deserves a full and maximum disciplinary whack and punishment for this - 8 to 12 weeks and nothing less. If the man can’t tackle then show some moral fibre and don’t pick him on the team. That’ll soon teach him.....

Get back in your bloody boxes all you armchair referees! It’s rugby not fancy pants netball is it! I’m not saying it’s a good thing but Farrell is an edge player these thing happen. If you watch it closely the young lad stepped in and got caught badly by Farrell. Any player that saw a chance for a big smash in open play would have lapped up the opportunity but unfortunately this time it hasn’t paid off. Farrell was apologetic and knew he had done wrong. He uses a rugby league technique in his tackles which he has been coached in for many years requiring him to stay as up right as long as possible to get his feet as close to the contact as possible. This is what gets people’s backs up. As a player and type of person he is I’m sure he will be pissed off with himself and sorry for making bad judgement! Maybe the ones that always put good players down so easily should step up and try and play a game for once and see what it’s like in real time instead of your living rooms.
