To be held in high regards like the Senju since they were the 2 founding clans of Konoha And Itachi to bear the sins of his own clan wanting to plot rebellion that could've uprooted Uchiha and Konoha of its entirety. He thought like a Kage and like every Kage, carries the weight and sins of his own village, in Itachi case, his clan. And Sasuke had always been proud of the Uchiha name and everyone who viewed Uchiha that way. So Itachi kept all the hate to himself and ensured it stayed that way. Else the scion of Uchiha being a bloody clan will maintain forever like how Orochimaru described the Kaguya clan. Everyone will fear the Uchiha. And this time they explained byt withheld some info like the name of Itachi who massacred the clan likely due to not have the public eyes be harassing Sasuke, Sakura and most importantly Sarada

Imagine if then, at her moment of weakness, she would be approached by a stranger in black robes, who would offer her a chance at taking what she should have earned by birthright and become more powerful than her father could ever dream of... And all she had to do is leave her old life behind and become vessel for Kara's aspirations.
