The murder trial for Sarah Boone began Monday after being delayed last week due to Hurricane Milton. Boone, 46, is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the February 25, 2020, death of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., 42.

Yes, Sarah told the Dr that she hit his fingers with her son’s baseball bat because he used them to try to get out of the suitcase. I suspect she hit him more than once because the medical examiner said he had other injuries on his body that were inflicted recently. Poor guy, he suffered so much before dying. RIP Jorge ❤

Sarah you are not a celebrity, this isn’t a guest show appearance on a talk show. Once this case is over your 15 minutes of fame will come to an end. Your lawyer needs to grow a spine and tell you to read the “court” room and to act like an adult and get over your delusions of self importance. A man was killed, his family has waited 4 long years for justice and I’m certain that every time she appears in the news they are feeling the pain and loss all over again.

A much better defemse would have been "i am an alcoholic, I drank too much, went into a blackout, and passed out before I could let him out". Instead, as many alcoholics do, she repeatedly denied / minimised the severity of her drinking problem. Most of her police interviews she categorically denies having been drink, saying she "just had 1 drink". Even now, I think she would struggle to admit she had a real drinking problem. Not that being drunk is an excuse for murder, but it might help at least 1 jury member feel anything but disgust at her actions.

Im 53, I've been a juror twice, both times I immediately researched the suspect and I'm glad I did, because all she did was lie and manipulate in court, her prior history wasn't allowed into evidence, but I knew it all. Guilty, 50yr sentence.
