This video clip was my , "Sarah Renaissance" ..I had seen her, back in the day on MTV...Phantom video , and Time to Say Goodbye..Not long after I joined the USAF...Didn't get much free time after that...Moving forward a few years ..Out of the service..My brother and his wife , visiting for the Holidays ,wanted me to see a video of this singer his wife adored...It was this clip here. , along with , First of May...And ,I was in love with her for keeps this time...Completely mesmerized ❤ with voice , persona , charms...🎶!

Such a wonderful song and performance , “Captain Nemo” really brings to life the awesome story of Julio Verne, Makes me feel the melancholic feeling of the great Book. It’s amazing what She does un her melody. Really makes me cry.

Sheer brilliance!!!! It's frustrating that at the time, no one was receptive to this kind of production in a really mainstream way. Michael Cretu struck gold with Enigma, but his partner Frank Peterson didn't fare so well and he couldn't take this kind of music very far for himself or his wife Sarah. This is too bad, because Sarah made it sound GOOD! But unfortunately, the general public liked her opera material better, and that's what proved most profitable. She tried to break out of that ever since, but kept getting pulled back.

Until she sang the line “Nemo’s going home “ I would have sworn she was lip syncing. Very rare for a performer to sing their own song live and sound exactly like the recording. Impressive.
