Ms Brightman, I was so blessed to see you live in Guangzhou, China, years ago. A friend invited me and I had no idea what I was getting into, but I listened to Dreamchaser a few times before I went to your concert and found it great -- but the live performance blew me away. Now, I live in Japan and have been fighting kidney cancer for over 2 years. I'm hoping to be eligible for surgery this year. I often listen to Glosoli, which is my all-time favorite song of yours. If the song was an hour, it still wouldn't be enough. It feels like what it would sound like if I had a soulmate who was singing directly to me from the core of her spirit -- and it always brings me to tears. Not many people have created art in sound form like this, and your voice is angelic. Thank you so much for every moment of joy you've given me, from the concert until today. If I can survive this battle, it would be a dream of mine to use Glosoli in one of my films. A thousand times thank you.

Sarah Brightman has done plenty of wonderful songs through out her career whether its one of her originals, or one of her artistic takes on some one else’s. However, I personally believe that Sarah did not create her most magnificent work of art until her newest album Dreamchaser and her cover of Sigur Ros’ Glosoli. First of all, like many critics are saying it takes a lot of guts, ambition, and artistic vision to cover one of Sigur Ros’ songs. Especially one where part of it is the band made up some of their own Icelandic language. Now while Sarah did not write the lyrics her self, as she did pay the astounding lyricist Chris Difford to write new English lyrics for the song, I’m sure Sarah, as she always had with her past albums, had plenty of say in what lyrics she favored, and what she wanted the lyrics to say. Although, I’m not sure if Sarah had much to do with the arrangement of the pieces accompaniment as there are so many things (No pun intended) left unclear since this was her first album since Dive where Frank Peterson wasn't her producer. Though I’m fairly sure she did have plenty of say. As after so many years of being her own producer, I don’t believe she would have the desire to let everyone else do the work while she just stands there and belts out the vocals. Anyways, the arrangement of the piece is phenomenal too, as they were able to keep the song in the same manner as the members of Sigur Ros intended with the vocals being just another instrument within the piece, not the star. (Pun not intended…again…) Sarah’s arrangement of “Glosoli” is so perfect its impossible to not listen to the song, and not be instantly be transported into the titanic void of space with vivid images of the bright sun rapidly appearing in one's mind. Sarah Brightman’s version of “Glosoli” truly is the closest man kind will ever be to feeling the massive and superior power of the sun. Bravo the angel of music! You have truly found your place in the sun! (Pun intended).
