Sarah Geronimo nagsalita na tungkol sa 'break-up' nila ni Teacher Georcelle

#SarahGeronimo addresses relationship with G-Force amid rumored rift with long-time collaborator and choreographer Georcelle Dapat-Sy.
Dapat-Sy earlier on Tuesday explained the non-appearance of #GForce at Sarah Geronimo's May 12 concert. The pop star's performances, including "Tala", notably had different choreography from the iconic dance moves popularized by Geronimo and the group.

Georcelle is just trying to use this "artistic differences" issue as her scapegoat for what she did. But the truth is she is just too selfish not to agree with Sarah's idea to have more dancers other than g-force. It was not only artistic differences but also character differences, Georcelle was so selfish while Sarah was so generous. She said that she supports Sarah to exercise her "artistic freedom" and be the ultimate decision maker on her concert but when ask to do her part, suddenly "artistic differences" came in and became an issue. Tsk tsk. "Artistic differences" prevail over friendship.

TG said it was her gift of creative freedom to SG. Uhm, nope. Stop putting it that way. Consider it as a gift if you were willing to meet SG halfway, comply to her requests. Meaning, if you were ready to do the collab (with the other dance groups - Ateam, Upeepz and Coach Jim's dance group) that SG wanted. But no, TG was not all set to compromise. TG was all about herself, and her GForce brand. Hence, why she pulled out her group our 2 months prior the concert. I hope she was reminded though that this was all about SG's 20th Anniversary, and not GForce. So stop making it all about you and your group.

Nasa concert ako di ko alam na may issue pala with GForce. The day after ko lang nalaman na hindi GForce yung dancers. Akala ko gusto lang ni Sarah na fresh steps, inisip ko baka iniisip niya naumay na yung mga tao sa viral steps ng Tala. Super ganda parin ng concert, pero nagegets ko hugot ni Sarah na feeling niya kinulang or mas magiging OK pa sana yung kalalabasan, especially if may vision ka talaga tapos gusto mo na mangyari. Everyone will probably hate me on this but this is probably the best breakup so far this year at least in my opinion 😅. I have been waiting for Sarah to try other dance and when i saw the Fiba performance with a new take i was like, "YES!" And when i heard the name u-peeps and a-team in her concert, I was "YEAAASSS!" I have been waiting for this moment for Sarah to collaborate with this folks. When i saw U-peeps at HHI in 2016 and a-team's performance in 2019 at HHI, in my head, i wish Sarah will collaborate with these dancers. Of course this is not to discredit G-force because even tho their dance moves are simple, they dance it with grace and sophistication but I think its time for Sarah to step up. All these K-pop groups are bringing something new to the table and if Sarah wont step-up, she will eventually get drowned. This I think is one of the best move she ever did. With Georcelle tho, i think she's just trying to preserve what is left, making sure that if they did use her choreography... at least she get something in return which is fair. Business is business. But just a note tho, a choreography can only be copyrighted if the whole series/sequence of the steps are used and not the individual steps. So for everyone who says but why the moonwalk can be used by everyone, its because its an isolated dance step not part of a whole. I hope Sarah will continue to hire u-peeps and a-team choreographers on her future projects because they've been killing the game.

The eyes of TG. I understand how she feels as she's a professional moving in an entertainment industry.However, when it comes to business,it's not all about BRAIN and DIGITS...not enough. SG's genuine thoughts that she wanted to share her achievements and success with all the people she met,that aside from having GF as her main,it would be a better idea if there were more dancers so that she could make everyone happier.I love the fact that SG doesn't think only of herself.She is thinking about other people's happiness first, to help introduce the new ones and all these is even more impressive. it's a concert, it's best to watch when there's a lot of movement on stage. Even if it is said that GF already had a name,there is big contribution from SG,her fans to make their group be better known. What is really shocking and so dissapointing is her demand/quotation letter sent 2 wks before the concert, which is one way of saying that Sarah and the new group of dancers cannot use her orig choreos. Ang mga dancers nung 90's ASAP ay mga perfomers from many groups tuald ng STREET BOYS, UMD, at iba pang grupo at sila ang mga nagtatanghal nang mga panahon na yun tuwing ASAP.

Sa pagkaka-alala ko popular na ang G-force kasi pag may prod ang sikat na mga artista sa asap eh G-force ang back up. Nung hinawakan ng G-force si sarah ay naging halimaw ang mga performance nya. Gusto ni Sarah na maraming back up dancers sa concert nya. Ang G-force naman ayaw makipag sayaw sa hindi G-force. Institusyon na kasi ang G-force, meron na silang brand na iniingatan. They respected each other's decision. Professionalism tawag dun.

This is not really money matter. It started on artistic differences that resulted to parting of ways. But what is really the issue here is this demand/quotation letter sent by Georcelle to the producers few days before the concert.This demand letter of 150k(per song w/ her dance choreo) is not really to demand pay as what she is trying to make as her reason, but actually to prohibit Sarah and her back-up dancers to use the original choreos. This wrong move of Georcelle is the root cause of this controversy.

With respect to G Force I believe Sara should try other opportunities like her choice of choreography. We’re global now and there are so many options out there. Like BTS the group hires international choreographers in their videos and concerts. Let’s admit it we’re very behind in that discipline and always a copycat.
