You just have to be certain of him, trust him and he will answer and make ways on his own time. Habakkuk2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Thank God for the Jakes family and everyone one who is a part of it . They’ve tried as humanly possible to show us God through their own issues and haven’t shied away from anything or made themselves look holier than others just because they’re Christians and that’s just what God expects of us , to be able to relate with God out of our own brokenness and to show the world that God is still faithful in spite of who we are and can transform our lives regardless of where we are . “This is our God!!!”

Yeah. We forget that people are simply people. We make the mistake of worshipping people and putting them on a pedestal. Instead of acknowledging that God Himself is perfect, and not the people that serve Him.

Yes. I used to make the mistake of comparing God's love to people's love. I knew of God for my whole life practically. But I didn't really know Him for myself until recently. And I still have to fight against certain things. Struggling to not get into my emotions when things don't happen when I think they should happen or how I think they should happen.

But what if the anger is directed at God himself? That you thought He will restore you, look after you and with all the promises He has made you and yet nothing come to pass. What does one do when one has given up on trusting man and decide to bank it all on God and He turns up short too? In fact, that's worse, because you're trusting him against all odds but you're still left broken and bitter. Who else can one turn to if God cannot be there for you?

Sometimes, the miracle is holding unto God, inspite of the things that don't make sense. I've had those moments and made it to the other side. The beauty is not in the things God does but in who He is, the promises, healing, blessings are just add ons. The best place to take beefs you have with God, is in the presence of God. God is not afraid of open and honest conversations; He already knows how you feel and He's God enough to handle your frustrations. But casting down your burdens, gives you peace and understanding. I pray for you to have staying power until you get a revelation and breakthrough in your situation. Read the story of Jacob wrestling with God, in Genesis 32 and the book of Habakkuk. 🙏🏾
