That's what happened to me. I was in a restaurant talking to a friend when this song came on. I had to interrupt the conversation to find out who sang it and the title. Beautiful. The guitar and the bass sound amazing with the vocals. Sarah's voice - angelic.

The guitars are given as much room to speak here as the vocal verses, which is one reason why I love Sarah. Mr. Hamer, your solo is so perfect here. I've been playing along to it for a week, my Tele DI'd through Logic's "Clean Echos" patch, my Meyer speakers turned up, and that final cascade that ends on open A brings me to tears every time. Thank you for this music!

I grew up playing acoustic guitars. At about 8 I was breaking them out of frustration, I actually broke a guitar that my grandfather had made, kinda cheap! But anyway. At about 10 or around ten. My uncle's, Wally. Johnny, and wade. Kept on me . I guess it just became I thing around the house so you learn stuff. Long story short I'm 55 years old now. And when you hear great artists like this! It drives you forward. I can appreciate this tune very much. I keep hearing it and it really takes my back. To the greatest childhood a kid could ever have. Thanks again. 🎵🎶🎵🎸🎵🎶🎶

Hahaha! Such a lovely track. I can;t believe anyone would dislike it - morning person or not. I think the influence of Psychedelia on the evolution and emergence of Americana is seldom given much attention. Ms. Jarosz’s attention to detail in the hypnotic “Dark Star”- like Grateful Dead guitar noodling, and even musical similarities beyond just the shared subject matter of winged creatures with It’s A Beautiful Day’s “White Bird,” root this song in some rich musical history. I am becoming a bigger and bigger Sarah fan with every new song of hers I hear!

OMG! I have heard Sarah's "Blue Heron" (Suite) on mostly KZbin, and I always wondered why it was never on any studio recording CD.
