I wasn’t thrilled when I went to this Lilith Fair concert back in the day! That was before I was lucky enough see and hear Sarah Mclachlan for the first time. From that point on I had a whole new appreciation for music which I already loved but there was something so authentic about seeing her live I don’t listen to music the same since that rainy day in Park City Utah! Thank you for being such an inspiration to a man that needed it during that time period. I introduced her music to both of my kids and I sing “The Ice Cream” song to my 3 beautiful granddaughters!

When I was in high school, if asked who my favorite artist of all time was, the answer was easily "Sarah McLachlan." Thirty years later, you could ask me the same question and you'd get the same reply. You are the most amazing singer, no doubt, but it is the kindness that radiates off you that solidifies it for me. You are a beautiful person inside and out, and you will never know how healing your music has been for me over my lifetime. Thank you! (And please release another album!!) :)

I would also say she is my favorite as well... As far as artistic talent she is at the top IMO. Her the Lennon and Fogerty are tied for me at the top... and a few others are close. She is most definitely up there... and way underrated IMO.

I feel exactly the same. My very favorite as a teen and young adult was “Elsewhere”. It’s strange that Taylor Swift is the typical favorite for so many young girls in school and when I compare the two, Sarah M’s music, lyrically and especially the raw gorgeous talent wind out EVERY time. ❤❤❤❤ pure beauty in every way.❤

Do you remember the Mirrorball DVD that was released then (1999)? My absolute favourite live performances, as well as an amazing package deal. Also, the Silence remix with Delerium was released that year. I’ll never forget that year, as hellish as it was, Sarah made it better
