I can't believe no one is talking about the AHS Freak Show crossover in Ratched when Edmund Tolleson at the beginning of Ratched ep.1 knocks on the door of the clergy and says "My car broke down, may I come in and use your telephone?" Dandy, the psychopath rich boy in Freak Show uses that exact same line and excuse when he knocks on the door of the women's Tupperware party!!

To be fair that excuse is a common trope in period horror stories. It was a common excuse used to invade homes and murder people. It may just be a product of the time the story is set but it can be an easter egg too.

I feel like Ratched is a character that loves and does what she can to help her family and understands loyalty. Whether they're psychopaths or not, they chose family. Two children that went through some shit, and grew up differently, turned out different.

She's a great character because she has layers and she's a very human character. She's not just a 'bad guy' or villain, she's also a flawed human being with trauma and things that motivate her to do what she does, but she's also likeable because we can see why she does these things and sympathise with her. That's how you write a good 'bad' character

What an amazing show! I normally do not like any movies with ladies wearing bonnets and puffy dresses but this was an exception. Love love Nurse Mildred Ratchet and the sassy Nurse Betsy Buckett, more so when she thought Dr Hanover was in love with her. I also believe Finn played the role of Edmund Tolluson really well. Those eyes are haunting me!
