Im wondering if your friend all of a sudden lost her motivation for attending school and general responsibility due to something your dad may have said or done to her behind your back while you guys were in france together. I know you said you keep your distance from him and how he kidnapped you in the past so im wondering about what is his character and general spirit is like...is he kind hearted? is he malicious? Is he mean? If he isnt a good hearted person, this is something i think you should think about as you look back in hindsight at the time your friend came with you to visit in france. Maybe her change in behavior once she returned home, had less to do with a witchcraft spell and more to do with something he may have said or done to her without your knowledge. I haven’t watched your “kidnapped by my dad” video yet but just from observing what you said about the hair cut ritual and it’s after effects on your former BFF, it sounds to me like he did the exact opposite of what he told you’ll the ritual was for. If he was actively keeping you away from your own mother it isn’t a far stretch to believe he did a separation ritual on your friend yet disguised it as a sister soul tie prayer to get you both comfortable with cutting off a lock of your hair and not question it. I don’t know that much on the subject but from a few of my own personal experiences with watching others do things like write a person’s name down and place it in a freezer (was at my ex bff’s apartment at the time when I found these random pieces of paper with names on it when I went to get myself some ice for my drink... I froze in confusion but just shut the freezer door and acted like I didn’t see it, however I’ll never forget it and that was my very last visit before the friendship finally ended for good ), or my cousin’s ex who we found out wrapped one of her used tampons in my cousin’s boxers where his mom (my aunt) found it in the back of her freezer after we all noticed my cousin wasn’t acting like himself during that time, etc. Basically what I’m getting at from my own observations is that rituals where the personal possessions of another person is needed (hair, article of clothing, pics, etc) it usually turns out the intended reason is not for good.

Maybe what your dad did was to separate you from her. Like keep her at a distance so she doesn’t suffocate you. Like you say, she changed and you’ve not seen her since but still talk and she’s not as involved as was in your life. Maybe he saw that she was manipulating you and being a negative energy around you. I’m not saying what he did was ok by any means but it seems from your story you are a kind and loving person and your friend was the taker and manipulator. Everyone around you saw her true nature but you saw whatever little good in her and held on to that. Imagine if she was still as involved in your life as she was then, how would that be for you?
