Most of my things will stay at home at my parents house. but for items I want with me, because I dont plan on driving there, ill get a car when I get out there, what might be the best way to do so. The car height doesn't matter but the weight does, SUVs are heavier and so they're less likely to hydroplane. Tires are the main thing though.

Rachael Wilson neither of you are correct. You hydroplane when your car regardless of its condition loses contact with the road. So speeding on a wet road even after it had rained can lead a car, suv or truck losing traction.
