Hi Sarah. I’m 64 and likely old enough to be your grandmother. Black Honey has been in my stash for decades. I wore it disco dancing. I wore it to a Talking Heads concert. I wore it to work when I ran a farm. I wore it to night school for grad work. I brought it to the hospital when my son was born. I wore it to my father’s funeral. I wore it to work when I finally became a Director. I wore it to court when I got divorced. I put it away for a long time. I rediscovered it when they made a pot liner and pencil liner in Black Honey. I loved the pencil. I wore it to a stub. I recently got it again as part of a Clinique GWP. It never seems to leave me. I always have it around like Jergens cherry almond lotion, Ban roll on, Noxzema, and Revlon Toast of New York lipstick.

I would organize them according to their types. Like glosses, lip balms, lip stains, lip sticks, lip liners. Then, arrange each of the categories as their colors going light to dark.

I use acrylic organizers from Amazon for my lip products. Might be something you may like to look into. There’s all kinds and of different sizes.

I would start by making lists of specific colors you want and which brands you’d like to buy from, or which formulas you’d like to try. If you keep track of it, it will keep you from buying the same color over & over. Also I would highly recommend minis where possible! Or even go in with a friend who would be okay with getting half of the shades depotted or something so you don’t have them sitting around and going bad because you can’t use them quickly enough. (It takes me at least 6 months of solid wear to use up a normal sized lipstick.)

@@CatMcCloud ~ I actually have a list haha, what colors should me and what kinds of formulas I like. As for lipsticks, I don’t really wear them, I’m more of a gloss/tint/oil type of girl, and I go through them very quickly haha

I love lip products too because i mainly focus my makeup on my lips. Just a swipe of lip color will make a fresh look on me. Btw what a nice lips you have! It looks plumpy and healthy

I did declutter my lip produts a few days ago too! I had to throw out my Fenty Gloss Bomb which I hadn't even used that much(because... mask...) because i realized i opened the tube in February last year. It's been almost 2 years and since it's a gloss, like liquid, it's gotta go😭

Heads up: the tower 28 glosses tend to go bad for a lot of people around the 6 month point. If you are planning on putting some of the colors away until next summer, they will likely go bad by then. 🥲☹ I bought so many colors, couldn't go through them all in time, and was disappointed
